He began his academic journey in China before moving to the United States, where he earned both a Ph.D. and an MBA from Wake Forest University, followed by postdoctoral research at Harvard University.
He later transitioned into management consulting, advising leading global organizations—including Pfizer, Roche, Johnson & Johnson, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Medtronic—on complex challenges across biotech, pharma, and medtech.
